My camera wasn't working so I did this with my etch-a-sketch.
This is the view from 12th and Pennsylvania.
From this view you need to walk down 12th street and enter through the double glass
doors, stopping at security for that friendly federal DC shakedown.
No knives, knitting needles, etc. etc.
The Federal Triangle metro stop elevator. If you can
see this view, the entrance is across the street to your left. If
you are exiting the elevator, you would see you seeing you and the
entrance would be on your right.

Cross the street safely and go between the buildings of the Old Post
Office Pavilion (left) and INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE building (right).
Straight down to the other doors and to the back. The
concessions on this level sell food, souvenirs, and we sometimes even
have music.
No snacking or you will spoil your supper!

We meet here, at the glass elevator. If the tower is
locked, we come down every half hour to check for new arrivals.
If the park service is staffing the entrance they may let you up if you
can convince them you are a ringer.
