Easter Passes

Thank you for your interest in attending Easter services at Washington National Cathedral. We have received an overwhelming number of requests for passes for the 11 am service on Easter Day. We regret that advance general admission passes for this service are no longer available.

Although web and phone requests are no longer being accepted, a limited number of stand-by passes will be available on Easter morning at the Episcopal Church House on the grounds of Washington National Cathedral approximately 30 minutes prior to the 11 am service. Distribution of these passes is made on a space-available basis. Seats in the reserved sections of the Cathedral will be held until approximately 15 minutes before the service. At that time all unoccupied seats will be made available to those waiting without advance passes. This service is also streamed live on our website on Easter Day.

  • Parking is available in our underground car garage which is located in the northwest corner of the Cathedral property. Access is from Wisconsin Avenue, at the traffic signal just south of Woodley Road. There are also surface parking spaces on the Cathedral grounds. Please allow ample time for locating a parking space.
  • Use of public transportation is encouraged. The closest Metro stop is the Tenleytown/American University station on the red line. Any 30-series bus traveling south on Wisconsin Avenue will stop at the Cathedral.
  • Please leave large parcels and backpacks at home. Wrapped packages might be subject to search and we are sorry, there will be no coat-check.

The peace of the Lord be always with you!
