Cathedral Center for Prayer and Pilgrimage

The CCPP is located on the crypt level of the Cathedral and may be accessed through the Visitor’s Center or Resurrection Chapel. The center is directed by the Rev. Canon Eugene T. Sutton and staffed by a community of volunteers. We invite you to stop by to make use of our resources and space and learn more about what we can offer you.

Through hospitality and programming, the Cathedral Center for Prayer and Pilgrimage seeks ways to invite an ever-widening circle of persons to embark upon the spiritual journey. The alcoves of the center itself provide a refuge for people in their busy lives who need a place of quiet in order to attend the Spirit within. Meditation aids such as pillows, prayer bowls, candles, and icons, in addition to books and journals, are just some of the resources available for use.

Throughout the year we offer a variety of programs to foster spiritual growth. Author lectures, workshops on prayer and meditation practices, retreats focusing on the spirituality of men and women, and pilgrimages to the Cathedral or to sacred sites abroad are activities sponsored by the center.
