For Visitors with Limited Mobility
Wheelchair access to the Cathedral is available via a ramp entrance at the
northwest corner of the Cathedral, near the elevators from the garage
(look for signs when exiting the garage). There is also acces via the
Clagett elevator in the Museum Shop entrance on South Road. A
wheelchair-accessible restroom and bar-activated water fountain are
located inside at the northwest corner of the nave (as well as on the
third floor of the towers). The door to the nave at the northwest corner
is button-activated. Inside the nave a limited number of wheelchairs is
available for visitor use.
Elevators provide access to the Pilgrim Observation Gallery. On the
Gallery level, a wheelchair lift provides access to Perry Auditorium. An
elevator on the south side provides limited access to the crypt level
(including Resurrection and Bethlehem Chapels). Ramp access is available
to the Herb Cottage on South Road; call ahead to (202) 537-8982.
For Visitors with Impaired Vision
Large print and Braille versions of the tourist brochure (in English)
are available from the docent station.
For Visitors with Impaired Hearing
Sound amplification is available for worship services and other events held
in the nave. Please ask an usher for the appropriate device. Selected
worship services and events, including Christmas and Easter, are sign
language interpreted.
For Visitors at Home
Video, transcripts and Real Audio files of sermons delivered at the
11:15 am service on Sundays are posted on the Sermons page on the Cathedral
website as available, and are also available for download as mp3 files from the
Podcast Files page.

the service are posted on the Service Videos page. Videos of some special services and programmatic offerings
can be accessed on the websites Event Video Archives page.
Every Sunday,
The Sunday Forum (10 am) and
the 11:15 am service are webcast live from a link that appears on
the Cathedral home page. The link
goes live shortly before the start of the Forum. Some special services
are also webcast.
