Ways to Give

Your financial support helps Washington National Cathedral carry out its mission as A National House of Prayer for All People. We invite you to consider the ways you can contribute to this vital work and make a difference in the life of Washington National Cathedral. Thank you for your support.

Give a gift online
Your generous donation to the Cathedral Fund supports Washington National Cathedral and its many programs—musical concerts, conservation and preservation efforts, lectures, global conferences, daily services, and more. Your credit card and personal information will be kept entirely confidential and transmitted and processed through secure connections. Click here to give a gift now.

Give a gift in honor, memorial, or thanksgiving
You can give your donation in someone’s honor, memory, or thanksgiving to let others know they are being remembered. Click here to give an honor or memorial gift now.

Mail a gift
If you would prefer to mail your donation, please print out the online giving form and send it to:

Washington National Cathedral
Attn: Development Office
3101 Wisconsin Ave. NW
Washington, DC 20016-5098

Ask for a matching gift
You can double your gift’s impact if your employer offers a matching gift program. Ask your human resource department for the form and send it to us.

Make a gift of stocks or securities
By making a gift of securities or real estate you benefit in two ways: first, by receiving a charitable income tax deduction, and second, by avoiding capital gains taxes that would otherwise be due on the appreciated property. Click here to learn more.

Make a planned gift or bequest
You can make a life-income gift or other planned gift to the Cathedral, or designate the Cathedral in a will or trust document and lower your income tax. Click here to learn more and to read/download copies of the Newsletter of the Cathedral Founders’ Society (PDF).
