Who we are
This site is operated by the Protestant Episcopal Cathedral
Foundation (PECF). The PECF was chartered by the United States
Congress in 1893 to operate Washington National Cathedral and its
affiliated organizations. The PECF is recognized by the Internal
Revenue Service as a not-for-profit, educational 501(c)3

The information we collect
The PECF and Washington National Cathedral collect certain
Customer Indentifiable Information from those who visit the
Cathedrals website and either request information or register to be

including name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit
card number and expiration date, gift or membership history and other
directly related information stemming from online donations or
memberships and that are directly linked to the individuals and their
transactions. This information may be merged with other information
the PECF or Cathedral already knows, such as whether you have
previously contributed to the Cathedral, have been an Association
member or have named the Cathedral as the recipient of an estate or
other planned gift, etc., or information available from other sources
such as credit card verification and credit services and dealers.
The PECF servers automatically collect through the use of log files information about what sites visitors came from and which pages are visited at the PECF/Cathedral site. The company uses this information in the aggregate.
