The Spirituality of Reconciliation
Through prophetic vision and a courage empowered by a mighty faith, Archbishop Desmond Tutu guided a broken nation to justice and peaceabolishing apartheid from the land of South Africa. He has been called an international icon of justice, a mediator for true democracy and the moral voice in ending poverty and human rights abuses. To witness Desmond Tutu is to witness the muscle of faith alive and powerfully at work in the world. His message is guided by the wisdom of the gospel and his deep abiding love for all humanity. Through the lens of faith he understands forgiveness as the instrument of peace.
