On Stage: “A Journey back in time…1907” Reenactment of the Laying of the Foundation Stone—Amphitheater (noon) [free gift for attendees]
Cathedral Day Birthday Cake Cutting with Teddy Roosevelt—West Front (2:15 pm)
Climb to Cathedral Heights: Central Tower Climb—Only twice a year can visitors take the 330 spiraling steps up to the tower. See a bell ringing demonstration and get a close-up view of the North rose window. Tickets ($5) for all time slots go on sale starting 8:30 am. Climbers must be at least 48 inches tall. Early Bird Climb starts 9 am. Meet at Tower Climb Booth by South Steps (9 am–3:30 pm, every 30 minutes.)
