FEBRUARY

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Race
The day before Ash Wednesday following the noon Eucharist, marking the beginning of Lent. (Tuesday, February 5, 2008)

APRIL

Kirkin o’ the Tartan
Traditional blessing service of Scottish Tartans; with bagpipes and drums. The third weekend of April at 4 pm. (Saturday, April 19, 2008)

MAY

Flower Mart
Sponsored by the Cathedral’s All Hallows Guild. Food, flowers, plants and arts and crafts are available for sale. Activities for children. It is the only time of year the Cathedral’s antique carousel operates. First Friday and Saturday in May, rain or shine. (Friday and Saturday May 2–3, 2008)

JUNE / JULY

Summer Music at the Cathedral
The Cathedral has decided not to host a Summer Music Festival this summer. Please join us for exciting musical offerings in June and July, including programs in the Centennial Organ Recital series, the Independence Day Organ Recital with Cathedral organists, and the YouthCue concert. Events are free and open to the public.

OCTOBER

Acolyte Festival
An event open to all acolytes in the nation. (Saturday, October 11, 2008)

DECEMBER

Ceremonial Laying of Wreath on President Wilson’s Tomb
Join representatives from the U.S. military services on the occasion of the anniversary of Wilson’s birth. (Sunday, December 28, 2008)

 

Cathedral Choral Society Concerts
