Michael E. Hill joined the Cathedral staff as the Senior Director for External Relations and Development in the fall of 2006.

Over the past four years Mr. Hill has directed Arena Stage’s $118 million capital campaign. The effort recently went public with more than $100 million already committed due in large measure to Mr. Hill’s communications, major gifts and management abilities. Before joining Arena, Mr. Hill served as executive director of St. Bonaventure University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts, where he managed all artistic and operational functions, including spearheading a multi-million dollar building and endowment campaign.

Mr. Hill has also served as public relations director for the Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts and as a guest critic for theatre and symphony at the Chautauqua Institution. He also teaches marketing and public relations in George Mason University’s Master of Arts Management program. He holds a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from St. Mary’s University in Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from St. Bonaventure University.
