“Poetry can be very emotional and spiritual,” said the Rev. Eugene Sutton, director of the Cathedral Center for Prayer and Pilgrimage. “We are bringing Coleman Barks to the Cathedral to give individuals the opportunity to search for the divine beyond structured dogma.”

Barks is participating in the Cathedral’s series Paths to Peace, a series of programs to inspire and educate individuals about spiritual and religious topics.
