Palm Sunday Services & Holy Week Schedule


What: Palm Sunday—Sunday of the Passion

When: Sunday, April 9 at 8 & 11 am

Where: Washington National Cathedral, Massachusetts & Wisconsin Avenues, NW

Part of this service celebrates Jesus’ triumphant return to Jerusalem, but, as the dramatic Passion Gospel is read, attention is focused on his impending suffering and death.

Good Friday Service
Friday, April 14 at noon

Holy Saturday and the Great Vigil of Easter*
Saturday, April 15 at 8 pm

Easter Day—The Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ
Sunday, April 16 at 8 & 11 am (free passes required for the 11 am service)

*Please note that photographic coverage of the Holy Saturday Great Vigil is virtually impossible due to low lighting.
