ELECTION OF MCKEE TO HEAD CATHEDRAL ASSOCIATION BOARD
MARKS AN NCA “FIRST”

For the first time in the 106-year history of the National Cathedral Association, its president is not a Washington, D.C. area resident. Craig M. McKee, partner in the Terre Haute, Indiana law office of Wilkinson Goeller Modesitt Wilkinson & Drummy LLP, begins his three-year term this month as the President of the National Cathedral Association’s Board of Trustees.

The NCA is an organization of over 13,000 members from all over the country who support and promote the work of the Cathedral as a national house of prayer for all people.

The Very Rev. Samuel T. Lloyd III, dean of Washington National Cathedral, is enthusiastic about Mr. McKee’s leadership, saying “Craig’s dedication to the Cathedral’s mission is extraordinary. His past experience as regional leader for Southern Indiana and as NCA Vice President for Membership will serve us well. We are thrilled that he will lead the Board of the National Cathedral Association.”

As President of the NCA, McKee is responsible for building and broadening the association’s national membership, expanding its programs, and fostering the growth of its network of regional volunteer leaders nationwide. He will lead a 29-person Board of Trustees that hails from across the country. In addition, the President is a member of the Cathedral Chapter, the governing body of the Cathedral.

McKee is a native of Terre Haute and graduated from Indiana State University in 1979. He earned his law degree from Indiana University in 1983 and then began his legal career as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Gene E. Brooks in Evansville. Since returning to his hometown in 1985 and joining Wilkinson Goeller Modesitt Wilkinson & Drummy LLP, McKee has served as a member of United Way of the Wabash Valley, Terre Haute Rotary Club, the Greater Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce, the Terre Haute Bar Association and Terre Haute’s Human Relations Commission.

McKee and his wife, Diann, reside in Terre Haute.
