Information on Men of the Choirs Positions

The Men’s section of the Washington National Cathedral Choirs has been restructured and a vastly improved package has been put together to attract Washington’s finest choral singers to work at the Cathedral.

• 4 calls per average week
• $100 per call
• Average annual income $16,000
• Full compliment of services for Christmas, Holy Week and Easter
• Opportunities for concert work, recording and tours

Time commitment for the average week:

Wednesday: 5:30 pm Choral Evensong (4:45pm call)
Thursday: 5:30 pm Choral Evensong (4:45pm call)
Sunday: 11 am Holy Eucharist (9:30am call)
Sunday: 4 pm Choral Evensong (2:45pm call)

Regular Vacancies: Basses
Preferred Substitute Vacancy: Tenor
Substitutes Vacancies: Countertenor, Tenor, Bass
