Men of the Choirs

The Men of the Choirs sing alto (counter-tenor), tenor and bass in the Choir of Men and Boys and Choir of Men and Girls. All of the Men of the Choirs are professional singers with extensive experience in sacred choral music. As positions become available among the choirmen, the Music Office posts an “available position” notice in the Cathedral website and local newspapers. Interested men should contact the Music Program Coordinator to request an audition. An audition consists of a prepared solo (selected in advance by the Director of Music), vocalizing (to determine tone quality and range) and sight-singing.
