Cathedral Centennial 1907-2007
Centennial Celebration
  Centennial Celebration
From the laying of the cornerstone in 1907, the Cathedral has built a program of liturgy, spirituality, and education while completing its fourteenth-century, Gothic structure. The 2007–2008 programmatic year will mark the Cathedral’s centennial with public festivals, reunions, exulted liturgy, concerts, arts presentations and lectures and the new Dean’s Forum.

The celebration activities launch a second century of ministry while giving thanks for a majestic edifice that graces the horizon of the nation’s capital. The Cathedral stands as a symbol of the nation’s spiritual foundations and of its ongoing spiritual life and diversity.

We invite you to help us celebrate 100 years and to participate in all that the Cathedral plans to offer in its second century.
